Impact Stories

Autism Mum And Child Given Hope
Autism Mum And Child Given Hope

Priscilla Wairimu and her 6yera old boy were living at a friends house after their rented house was locked due to rent arrears. Upon seeking for help from SFAEP, we were able to advocate for her case at Kindcare Network ( a similar charitable organization) to give her a scholarship and offer therapy sessions to her severely autistic son. SFAEP was able to raise money from wellwishera to pay for Peris rent arrears at Juja, rent a new house for her near KIndcare organization and relocate her to Kamangu Ndeiya to commence the schooling and therapy journey

Household empowerment
Household empowerment

Ibrahim Kane is a road accident survivor who was rendered paralyzed due to spinal injuries, and had one leg amputated. Being the sole bread winner with 4 children he can no longer work and his wife is now the caregiver. SFAEP has enrolled his household as one of our beneficiaries, taking them through psycosocial support program whereby a counsellor offers them family therapy for emotional and psychological healing. We also donate adult diapers and basic household items for their upkeep.
